On the 11 November 2002 STEPHAN WELZ held it's final fine art auction for the year in Johannesburg comprising three sessions:

SESSION I: 14h00
 Lots 1-299 (South African paintings start at lot 76)

SESSION II: 17h00
Blind Auction
93 lots were executed by donor artists specially for this occasion. All the works have been signed on the reverse but only after the auction was  the signatures revealed. The proceeds of the sale went to the Johannesburg Art Gallery to further art education.
